Streamlint Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when Streamlint issues refunds. It is part of our Terms of Service and is incorporated into them by reference. Where this policy and §5 of the Terms differ, this policy controls.


1. Our satisfaction guarantee

We want you to get real value from every audit. If a plan genuinely is not working for you, email billing@streamlint.com within seven (7) days of your purchase from the email used at checkout, tell us what went wrong, and we will make it right or refund you. We read every message and a real person responds.

This is a satisfaction guarantee, not a no-questions-asked return. A real audit is produced and AI cost is incurred the moment you run one, so the guarantee covers genuine quality and delivery problems — not a change of mind after you have received and used your report.

2. One-time audit ($29)

The one-time audit is a single charge for a digital report that is delivered instantly. We will refund it when:

  • you were charged but no report was ever delivered to you;
  • you were charged twice, or charged by mistake, for the same audit;
  • a technical failure on our side made the report unusable and we could not cure it.

We will redo a weak audit at no charge before issuing a refund. We may decline a refund where the report was delivered and used as intended, where the request is outside the 7-day window, where we determine in good faith that the request is fraudulent, where you circumvented the geofence, or where you breached your content representations under §3 of the Terms.

3. Streamlint Pro ($299/month)

Pro is a monthly subscription billed in advance. You can cancel any time from your account or by emailing billing@streamlint.com; cancellation stops all future billing and takes effect at the end of your current paid month, and you keep access through that date.

Because work and AI cost are incurred across the month to keep your roster audits available, the current billing period is non-refundable once it has begun. We do issue refunds for a charge where the service was never made available to you, a duplicate or accidental charge, or a billing error on our side. We do not refund partial months for cancellations, and we do not refund a renewal simply because it was not used.

4. How to request a refund

Email billing@streamlint.com from the email used at checkout with your order or subscription details and a short description of the problem. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, typically within 5-10 business days depending on your bank.

5. Chargebacks

If you have a billing problem, contact us first — almost everything is resolved quickly by a real person. Filing a chargeback without contacting us, on a charge for a report that was delivered and used, may be disputed with the evidence of delivery and acceptance described in our Terms.
